  17. I suspect that VisCorp weren't willing to buy a dead company, but an on-going
  18. concern is a different matter. ESCOM sank, I'd imagine, far more than 40
  19. million in setup fees into AT to get it up and running.  Now VisCorp can
  20. reap the benefits of restarted production, a distribution chain, R&D personnel
  21. and all the hype that's gone on since ESCOM bought Commodore.

  23. Oh, and full and complete access to the OS and chipsets.

  25. No doubt Carl or other members of VisCorp can shed further light on the
  26. subject, but I really doubt there's anything underhanded going on.
