-
- I suspect that VisCorp weren't willing to buy a dead company, but an on-going
- concern is a different matter. ESCOM sank, I'd imagine, far more than 40
- million in setup fees into AT to get it up and running. Now VisCorp can
- reap the benefits of restarted production, a distribution chain, R&D personnel
- and all the hype that's gone on since ESCOM bought Commodore.
-
- Oh, and full and complete access to the OS and chipsets.
-
- No doubt Carl or other members of VisCorp can shed further light on the
- subject, but I really doubt there's anything underhanded going on.
